Your money data, on your side.

Bring The Receipts exists to give you awareness — not to package your spending for someone else. Here is exactly how we treat your data.

Your data is never sold

We make money when you pay for the app — not by selling what is in your wallet. Your receipts and spending are never handed to advertisers, data brokers, or lenders. Ever.

Private by default

Your receipts, documents, and spending are visible to you and only you. Shared budgets are opt-in and scoped to the people you invite — nothing is public.

Sign in with Google

Authentication runs through Google via our identity service — so there is no separate password for us to store, leak, or get wrong. You control access from your Google account.

Per-account isolation

Every record is scoped to the account that owns it, enforced at the database layer. One account can never read another account’s data.

Encrypted in transit

All traffic between you and Bring The Receipts is served over HTTPS. Your photos and data are encrypted on the way to us.

You can leave with your data

It is your record. Export your data whenever you want, and closing your account removes it. No hostage-taking, no dark patterns.

The business model, in one line

We work for you, not a lender.

Most free finance apps are free because you are the product — your transactions become leads for credit cards and loans. We chose the opposite: a simple subscription, so the only person we answer to is you.

Responsible disclosure

Found something that looks like a security issue? We want to hear about it. Email hello@midwest.holdings with the details and we will get back to you. Please give us a reasonable window to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly.

Clarity you own — not a product to be sold.
